Traditional Uses:
Produces better bowel movements without causing irritation. Can calm an irritated gut, as well as encouraging it to move regularly. Conditions such as gallstones and worms may benefit from efficiently moving bowels. Tends to soften fecal matter, thus making bowel movements easier and improving hemorrhoids (piles).
Directions to use:
Suitable for use by people on weight loss programs. Adults and children older than 12 years of age: Use 2g – 4g in a cup of boiling water. Allow to steep for 10min under cover before drinking. Best taken at bedtime. Should it be necessary, the dosage may be increased to 1 cup of tea in the morning as well as o1cup at bedtime. The correct dosage for everyone is the smallest dosage necessary to maintain a soft stool.
Safety precautions:
Do not use if pregnant or lactating. Tastes very bitter as a tea. Do not use for prolonged periods. Consult with a medical practitioner before use.
