Aromatic, astringent.
Traditional Uses:
Mainly used to treat bronchial and nasal congestion. Relieve indigestion, flatulence, and stomach cramps. May help relieve palpitations. Used to relive mild headaches. Use as a wash for oily problem skin.
Directions to use:
Infusion: 1 – 2 teaspoons in 1 cup of boiling water. Infuse for 10 – 15min. Strain and drink two to three times per day.
Safety precautions:
Long term use of large amounts of the leaf may cause stomach irritations. Do not use if pregnant or lactating. Consult with a medical practitioner before use.
