Traditional Uses:
Use as a tonic. May help ease cold symptoms, stop diarrhea, and soothe inflamed mucous membranes. Gargle with a strong infusion to help with tonsillitis, sore throats, and gingivitis. May be of assistance in the treatment of irregular menstruation, dysentery, and cholera. Can be used for burns and scalds as well as psoriasis and scaly conditions of the skin.
Directions to use:
Infusion: 1-2 teaspoons of dried herb in 1 cup of boiling water. Infuse for 10-15min. Drink two to three times per day.
